- Upper endoscopy helps diagnose and treat the causes of abdominal pain, difficulty swallowing, nausea, vomiting and upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Colonoscopy aids in colon cancer screening, enables removal of pre-cancer and early cancer lesions in the colon, assists in the evaluation of diarrhea and inflammatory bowel disease and helps diagnose and control lower gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) aids in the diagnosis of biliary and pancreatic disease. This procedure is often used to relieve symptoms of obstruction by removing bile duct stones or stenting the biliary and/or pancreatic duct.
- Endoscopic ultrasound is a special form of endoscopic imaging that helps in closely visualizing abdominal organs such as the pancreas, bile duct, liver and surrounding structures.
- Capsule endoscopy helps diagnose small bowel disease such as blood vessel malformation and Crohn's disease.
- Colonic stent prevents obstruction in cases of advanced colon cancer.
- Esophageal stent and dilation improve swallowing in patients with esophageal narrowing from advanced esophageal cancer.
- Small bowel deep enteroscopy examines the small bowel to detect and treat disease within the small bowel.
