Whether your child needs a well visit or vaccination, nutritional education or non-urgent sick care, TBHC offers the finest pediatric primary care from birth to age 21 via several ambulatory (outpatient) care sites. The Children's Health Center (of which the Brooklyn Adolescent Center is part), and all our Family Health Centers, each received recognition as Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home, a prestigious recognition earned by demonstrating delivery of excellent primary care within a team-based environment with a commitment to performance improvement and integrating evidence-based medicine into the electronic health record.
Children’s Health Center in Brooklyn
The Children’s Health Center, located at the main hospital, 121 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, provides a warm and caring environment for the treatment of children from birth to age 21. The Brooklyn Adolescent Center
TBHC’s Brooklyn Adolescent Center, located in the Children’s Health Center at the main hospital at 121 DeKalb Avenue in Downtown Brooklyn, provides the full spectrum of adolescent pediatric services and specialties, and ensures the highest quality, most comprehensive care available. The adolescent team focuses on promoting private and confidential care for teens and young adults 13 to 25 years oldin an anxiety-free environment so patients can discuss heath issues frankly and honestly.
